Definition of meditation--

“Meditation is simply the practice of focusing your attention on a particular object—generally something simple, like a world or phrase, a candle flame or geometric figure, or the coming and going of your breath.

When you meditate, you narrow your focus, limit the stimuli bombarding your nervous system—and calm your mind in the process.”

There are so many different ways to do it and depending on your learning style you have a few different choices... for instance if you are a hands on learner, physical, auditory, or visual.
